This scene is part of the first draft of a screenplay I’ve written as part of my Masters. See past days to catch up on the rest of the story. Happy reading.
INT. DANIEL AND NATHAN’S APARTMENT – DAY
MONTAGE – Some funky music plays as Daniel packs his suitcase. He moves around his apartment collecting items, considering them.
Behind him is his and Nathan’s apartment.
The two bedroom doors are each adorned with a large wooden block with a name, Daniel, then Nathan, engraved on it, much like young children have.
The walls are strewn with photos of Daniel and Nathan together at various ages and in various locations.
Daniel happily walks into the room marked ‘Nathan’ to consider further clothing options, taking some from Nathan’s wardrobe.
On his bed sits his open suitcase and beside the large suitcase are neat rows of folded up clothing waiting to enter the suitcase.
Beside those, equally as neat, are rows of various medications and health products. Daniel scans them all intently.
Daniel repeatedly prints off his name ‘DANIEL REEVES’ on a label maker and applies it to every one of his items, even his toothbrush gets a label.
He starts to place items carefully into the suitcase with the precision of a tetris player.
He looks down at his perfectly packed suitcase, it is completely full and impossibly neat. With an shake of his head he empties it, and starts to repack.
