EXT. RIO DE JANEIRO AIRPORT – DAY
Daniel has barely walked through the doors when a TAXI DRIVER dressed simply, with a few days stubble on his face runs up to him.
Taxi? Oh yes, but-
The taxi driver grabs Daniel’s backpack out of his hands and runs toward the carpark.
Daniel is shocked for a moment and then starts to jog after him.
The taxi driver leads him to a beat up old car that looks like it should have been put down years ago, with no actual indication of it actually being a taxi. He puts Daniel’s backpack into the boot and then ushers for him to get in. The taxi driver jumps into the drivers seat. Daniel looks at the car warily.
I hate to do this but do you have a licence I could see?
The taxi driver jumps out of the car and hurriedly opens the door for Daniel and continues to usher him in.
Well, I’m not sure, I-
The taxi driver gets Daniel into the car and jumps once more into the drivers seat.
Excuse me sir, I’m having trouble locating my seat bel-
The car roars off loudly.
